The sector’s duties

1- Carrying out seasonal projects that are specific and distributed to areas of need and based on the needs assessment
2- Emergency and immediate response to displacement and eviction cases and providing shelter for them
3- Seeking to increase coordination with all parties working on the ground in order to deliver aid to those who deserve it
4- Supporting the return to the original home when conditions are appropriate by rehabilitating damaged homes and buildings

The shelter and non-food items program is divided into
1- Seasonal campaigns
They have been implemented on a regular annual basis for four years now
*Distributing summer and winter clothes, and this is done within halls on the principle of free vouchers. The number of halls at the Humanitarian Work Authority has reached seven halls spread across Idlib and its countryside, Aleppo countryside, and Hama countryside
*Distributing winter blankets
*Distributing heating fuel
*Distributing tents
*Distributing insulation materials for tents

2- Emergency response campaigns
And they are based on emergency responses to ongoing displacement campaigns
